Ingredients
- Lactic acid : An alpha-hydrOxy acid (AHA) that occurs naturally in milk, as well as in some fruits and vegetables. It is used in skincare products as an exfoliant, as it helps to slough off dead skin cells and promote cell turnover. Lactic acid can also help to improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
- Sugar cane extract : Derived from the sugar cane plant and is rich in alpha-hydrOxy acids, primarily glycolic acid. Like lactic acid, glycolic acid is also an AHA that can help to exfoliate the skin and improve its texture. Sugar cane extract can also help to hydrate and moisturize the skin.
- Salicylic acid : A beta-hydrOxy acid (BHA) that is derived from willow bark. It is commonly used in skincare products as an exfoliant and to treat acne and other skin blemishes. Contraindications:
